Description

David George and his family make wines in the village of Courgis, producing lime fresh, classic Petit Chablis from a plot that lies in the shadow of the great Montmain vineyard. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and using natural yeasts, left to settle naturally and kept on lees for a short period to enhance complexity. This is cracking domaine with real class. The old vine Chablis is produced from a very limestone dominated vineyard of 50 years old vines and is concentrated, with mealy, lime citrus notes. The palate is rich and surprisingly full but with a vibrant steely under current.
